About the RoleWith a number of exciting projects and developments in the pipeline, our Finance team at Ingenia is looking for a Development Accountant to provide support to the Finance team by business partnering with our Development Managers to assist with project accounting, financial management, budgeting and forecasting.
Key AccountabilitiesPreparation of the month end accounting processes including monthly accruals, journals and balance sheet reconciliations as requiredCompletion of the bank account reconciliation and journals associated with deposits, sales and settlements on a weekly basisReview of settlement statements for sale of manufactured homesPrepare commissions calculations on a fortnightly basis for payment in line with settlements and commission termsWork with the Finance team to prepare the audit file to support financial statements and disclosuresAssist in preparation of the annual budgetAssist in preparation of quarterly feasibility reviewUpload and validate capex budgets in JDEReview of project cost coding allocationsAssist in the tracking of project cashflows compared to Budget and ForecastAssist the Development and Sales team in the purchase order process and queriesManaging system administration of projects including job setup, DOA and budgetsAssist development and sales in any ad-hoc finance requirements including process improvementsAbout YouUniversity Degree QualificationYou have commenced, or completed your CA/CPA QualificationExcellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsProperty/development industry experience requiredExperience with financial modelling desirableExperience with JDE or large ERP system desirableTakes ownership and initiative in all responsibilities.
