With strong ties to over 20 clan groups, Mimal works collaboratively with landowners, researchers, and scientists to manage 18,300 square kilometers of culturally significant land. From fire and land management to wildlife conservation and cultural education, Mimal is dedicated to sustaining a vibrant, healthy landscape for future generations. The area's natural and cultural assets are managed by Mimal Rangers on behalf of and in cooperation with landowners and custodians. Under an established Healthy Country Plan, the rangers manage land, water and fire, and conduct wildlife protection, monitoring and revegetation programs, weed and feral animal control, and carry out rock art, cultural history and language projects, and learning on country education programs with school children. The Opportunity As Deputy CEO, you will be instrumental in Mimal Land Management's mission to safeguard Arnhem Land's cultural and environmental assets.
