This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for departmental operations.Duties include but are not limited to:Providing customer service via phone and email, or for walk-in customers.Posting agendas and meeting minutes in accordance with Open Meeting Law.Issuing various licenses and certificates.Collecting census data.Participating in election preparation and training of election workers.Qualifications for this position include:A high school diploma and 1-3 years of municipal experience.Knowledge of State and Town regulations, bylaws, and policies.The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.Good written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail.This is a 35-hour per week position with a salary range of $42,060.02 - $55,182.40, depending on qualifications.Interested applicants should send a resume and cover letter to: Town Administrator's Office, 30 Providence Road, Grafton, MA 01519 or by email to Human Resources at: .
