As a Delivery Lead, you will be supported by an inclusive team as you lead multiple delivery teams in the management, control and co-ordination of initiatives to drive the creation of a new Bank. You will provide expertise across delivery management, resource management, financial management, delivery and sprint planning, scheduling and execution, progress reporting and stakeholder engagement, whilst ensuring strong governance. Additionally, your focus will be to deliver these initiatives whilst maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders.Working collaboratively, your key responsibilities will include:Implementing key initiatives in line with agreed budget, schedule and qualityManaging and coordinating the delivery plan, associated risks and cross functional resources within approved budgets and schedulesDriving governance of Agile, project, release management, change, and testing methodologiesHelping to determine and deliver value up frontDeveloping financial evaluation models, benefits and outlining ongoing BAU costs, in order to hand over to the businessIdentifying and assigning resource requirements to deliver initiative and tracking progressTaking accountability for the overall technical solution by providing thought leadership and governance to technical delivery teamsDeveloping plans to mitigate risk with a sound understanding of risk management principlesAbout YouYou are a well experienced Delivery Manager working across both Agile and Waterfall Project Management methodologies. You have successfully delivered concurrent, complex initiatives within the finance and/or banking field that has involved managing a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation whilst leading cross functional teams.We also seek:Demonstrated leadership experience in successfully delivering initiative outcomesA strong focus on customer service and identifying the needs and pain points of end usersOutstanding influencing, negotiation and communication skillsExceptional organizational and critical thinking skillsBroad technical understanding of banking technology including application development, infrastructure management, cyber security, and integrationProven estimating and resource management skillsExperience establishing steering committees and working groupsExperience using JIRA to set sprint goals and track progressExperience preparing schedules, cost reporting, status tracking, and progress reportingYour degree qualification in business, IT or related field or equivalent is required and certification in recognised project management qualification, with Agile certifications will be highly regarded.Why you'll love working with us:People First Bank – our new brand – says exactly what we're all about: people.
