Job Description This is a remote position. This innovative company combines the excitement of sports with the precision of data science, offering a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects that push the boundaries of predictive modeling. Job Responsibilities Architect and maintain robust MySQL databases to handle large volumes of sports-related data. Craft efficient Python scripts for data processing, analysis, and model integration. Utilize Talent Studio (specifically Talend Open Studio) to streamline data workflows and enhance productivity. Implement and maintain stringent data security protocols to protect commercially sensitive information. Collaborate with data scientists to refine predictive models through optimized data management. Troubleshoot complex database issues and implement performance enhancements. Develop and maintain data pipelines for seamless information flow across systems. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure and analytical processes.

Requirements Proven expertise in MySQL database management and optimization. Strong Python programming skills, particularly in data manipulation and analysis. Hands-on experience with Talent Studio, preferably Talend Open Studio. Proficiency in Windows Server environments. Solid understanding of data security best practices and implementation. Demonstrated ability to handle and analyze large datasets efficiently. Knowledge of predictive analytics or statistical modeling is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Passion for sports and data-driven decision making. Willingness to sign and adhere to strict confidentiality agreements.
