The Data Scientist - Geoscience reports to our Lead Data Scientist and will work closely and collaboratively with our Head of Applied Science, Chief Data Scientist and entire Applied Science team to provide geoscientific data science domain expertise to internal and external stakeholders.Geoscientific data scientists at Datarock are eager to uncover and share stories hidden in geological data. Knowledge of GIS and other geoscience software is desirable.Experience with common data science and machine learning frameworks.Knowledge and experience of the AWS cloud computing stack is beneficial.An understanding of common geoscientific datasets.
