Data Modeller

I'm working with a large Federal Government department to find a Data Modeller. Duration: 18 months with 1 x 12 month extensionLocation: ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WACitizenship/Security Clearance requirements: Australian citizens with a minimum baseline clearance
As a Data Modeller, you will work closely with data architects, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into logical data models.
You will be responsible for the utility of the data model and the accuracy and completeness of documentation.You will also work with data stewards to maintain relevant data dictionaries and metadata.
Your expertise in data modelling tools and techniques, and your ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be critical to the success of our data-driven projects.
You will have the following background: Demonstrated ability to design, implement and manage a semantic layer/ontology, enabling users to access data that is modelled to support their analysisKnowledge of industry best practices for design of data modelsDemonstrated experience working on medium to large sized systemsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data requirementsExperience working in agile environments, with an ability to adapt to changes in project direction and stakeholder expectationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and documentation skills.To have your application considered, you will: Be an Australian citizenHave a minimum baseline clearanceIf this position sounds of interest, please APPLY NOW!
