About the Role The security team in these locations play an important role in ensuring that the clients data integrity is always maintained.
As the first point of contact for visitors and contractors entering the facility, the Security team at these locations need to leave a lasting impression of exceptional customer service.

Position available is located in Hume and Fyshwick - Canberra.
We have a day shift supervisor role and night shift supervisor role available.
The Security Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:
Manage the Security Team on day to day operational requirements Conduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting a restricted area Ensure compliance with all Security Procedures & Policies Identify prohibited items and prevent them from being introduced to or removed from a restricted area Escalate and report on incidents Patrol assigned areas and escalate issues Must hold a current AGSVA NV1 clearance Skills and Experience: Must have current AGSVA NV-1 clearance and current State Based Security Licence Customer service experience is essential Conflict resolution and negotiation skills required Must be punctual and responsible Exceptional customer service standards Basic to Intermediate PC skills (MS Suite) Compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures Protection of premises occupants, protection of real and personal property Report writing and Site patrol duties Greet visitors and employees and assist as required Excellent observational skills Lead by example – support a safety and compliance culture At Securitas, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
