WHAT YOU'LL DO: As a Data Center Technician at Kaseya, you'll be the superhero who ensures our critical infrastructure runs smoothly day in and day out! You'll be hands-on, working with cutting-edge technology and collaborating with a dynamic team to keep everything humming. You'll be in charge of making sure that everything from servers to networking equipment runs like a dream. Get ready for a role where you'll be solving problems, managing equipment, and keeping everything in tip-top shape! You'll be: The local point of contact between Kaseya and our amazing Data Center staff – you'll be the face they know and trust! On the front lines with daily inspections, making sure all Kaseya-related data center equipment is running at full capacity. The go-to for installing, setting up, and maintaining infrastructure and application equipment, from servers and storage to networks and software. A pro at managing hardware, running diagnostics, and replacing failing parts like RAM, PSUs, and hard drives. The organizer of our internal reference rack schedule, keeping track of all deployments. A coordinator for the critical logistics of hardware shipping and receiving – making sure we're always ready for action! A key player in maintaining inventory, auditing equipment, and ensuring we have the right spare parts on hand. Hands-on with lifting equipment (don't worry – you'll have the right tools for the job), and installing fiber and copper cabling. A leader when it comes to overseeing contractors and service providers in Kaseya spaces, ensuring they meet our standards. Part of an on-call rotation, always ready for emergency response. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We're on the hunt for a Data Center Technician who's not only technically skilled but also loves the challenge of keeping systems running smoothly. You'll be reporting to the Data Center Manager and working closely with the wider IT team. Your responsibilities will include everything from hardware maintenance to inventory management – all while ensuring that our data center is running like a well-oiled machine. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Summary: Act as the local point of contact for all Kaseya-related data center activities and personnel. Perform daily inspections of infrastructure equipment to ensure everything is functioning smoothly. Install and operate a range of computing equipment, including servers, storage, networking gear, and software. Set up, install, and maintain hardware and cabling, ensuring all systems are properly configured. Develop and maintain a detailed reference rack schedule for all deployments. Manage the process of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) RMA shipments and coordinate the destruction of failed drives. Troubleshoot hardware issues, run diagnostics, and replace failing components quickly and efficiently. Maintain and audit inventory, labeling equipment, and removing decommissioned hardware. Ensure spare parts inventory is stocked and ready for repairs. Lift and install heavy equipment up to 50lbs, using manual and electric server lifts where appropriate. Install fiber and copper cross-connect cabling. Oversee contractors and service providers in Kaseya's data center spaces to ensure high-quality service. Assist with shipping, receiving, and the distribution of critical hardware. Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response. About You: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to connect with both employees and customers. A problem-solving pro with advanced technical troubleshooting skills. Possess an eager "can-do" attitude and approach challenges with optimism. Able to manage technical tasks efficiently and develop a methodical, detail-oriented approach to solving problems. Experience in general computer hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and repair. Minimum of 2 years of experience managing logistical processes. 2-3 years experience as a data center technician or in a similar technical role. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience. Experience in shipping logistics or previous data center experience is a plus. Military training or technical certifications (CompTIA, etc.) are a bonus! Bonus Points: Experience with Ubuntu/Debian Linux. Certifications such as CompTIA Linux+, Network+ or equivalent.
