We offer meaningful, impactful work collaborating and innovating with the best and brightest in a transparent, supportive and fast-paced work environment.Role Purpose & ObjectiveAs a Data Analytics & Insights Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring data analytics is a lever of growth and developing the analytics practice to ensure we lift the company's data maturity through data-driven insights.You will manage and mentor a team of 9 data analytics analysts, as well as work closely with stakeholders across the business including product managers and senior business stakeholders to devise strategies, prioritise, and deliver business value from our data assets creating a centre of excellence in data analytics.How will you add value?Ensuring the data analytics team is actively contributing and driving strategic plans around data architecture and design to improve products, infrastructure, processes within the organisation.Shape the data analytics team culture across the wider organisation by supporting self-serve data capabilities, mentoring & coaching peers and evangelising data democratisation and data products across the organisation.Lead and manage a team of data analysts to unlock and amplify value from hipages' data assets by identifying, integrating and documenting relevant data sets within the existing data ecosystem, and enabling teams to discover and self-serve data needs.Develop organisational-wide frameworks and approaches to analytics from experimentation to forecasting.Evolve hipages' data analytics stack to tackle challenges and realise opportunities by providing data capabilities to cross-functional teams, maturing infrastructure and developing data products.Mentor, coach and support analysts in their craft, developing leadership capabilities, talent management, engagement and the alignment of work to strategy, practices and priorities.Support the team with prioritising use cases, and requirements and take part in agile ceremonies.Contribute to growing our user base by designing and delivering segmentation strategies to build a customised consumer experience.Your ExperienceTertiary degree qualified in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or related field.5+ years experience in Information Technology and Management (Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Visualisation etc) and/or quantitative fields.Experience leading data analysts, defining team strategy, and data roadmaps.Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Mode, etc).Strong competency in SQL and experience wrangling data with R or Python.Strong communication skills - verbal and written - be able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas - stakeholder management and community education are vital in this role.Experience with wide range of analytical approaches (Forecasting, clustering, econometric modelling, segmentation, etc.).Experience leading projects in an agile team (Scrum or Kanban).Experience leading projects across multiple departments, such as Sales, Service, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.Strong capability of managing and prioritising a number of competing tasks from different stakeholders.Nice to haveExperience with Databricks, and cloud technologies, preferably AWS.Experience with streaming data.Relevant experience in a marketplace or digital-native organisation.Take a look inside our home:Offering an inspirational 'home away from home' and hybrid (50/50) work environment, our commitment to being a Great Place to Work means you will feel comfortable being your authentic self and get to do your best work every day.
