You will be joining a truly connected ANZ Water business that provides the full suite of consulting services from advisory and engineering through to operations and asset management. Our team works seamlessly across multiple geographies embracing Jacobs' culture of flexibility and global teaming.We are currently looking for Dams Engineers of all levels to help us deliver a strong pipeline of work on high-profile and challenging projects across the Queensland region with water authorities, mining clients, Councils, and other government authorities.In particular, we are working in partnership with Sunwater to deliver on their ambitious capital program as their engineering and professional services partner. A significant component of the partnership is upgrading several dams by 2035 to maintain a safe, secure water supply for the region as part of the Dam Improvement Program. We are looking for people who understand dam safety and the challenges facing dam owners, and can work productively in a team to advance projects through planning, design, and construction phases. We are looking for skills in design management, civil, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering, as well as hydrology, hydraulics, and asset management.Here's what you'll needQualifications A tertiary qualification in engineeringStrong technical knowledge and experience in dams engineering designsExperience with design management, procurement planning, construction sequencing, and construction programme reportingActively engaging in and developing a safety culture within a construction workforceAbility to build constructive, appropriate, and balanced relationships with counterparts and colleaguesAbility to plan, design, read, interpret, and supervise complex engineering projects and assignmentsDesirableMembership of Engineers Australia or equivalentMembership to ANCOLDChartered Professional Engineer or equivalentRegistered Practising Engineer Queensland (RPEQ)At Jacobs, we support your personal life and career journeys.
