Job Description:We are looking for a Technical Support Officer (TSO) to join our Digital & Technology (D&T) team in NSW to provide high quality onsite and remote technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
About the role
The Technical Support Officer (TSO) role delivers prompt and effective face-to-face or remote resolution to clients' requirements through the provision of first and second level technical support for incoming service requests and incidents related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
The TSO will be required to travel to SVHA facilities/sites to provide technical assistance and resolution of incidents. They are also required to work as part of the After-Hours on-call roster.
Additional responsibilities of the role include: Conducts engagement with clients with integrity and compassion by understanding the impact of the issue raised.Delivers prompt and effective resolution to clients, either face-to-face, remotely or by liaising with other staff and vendors whilst managing the process to the clients' satisfaction.Respects the urgency of issues or requests and set proper expectations for follow-ups.Is responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting, and restoring to service any personal computer or device that has authorised access to the network.Demonstrates a commitment to high quality client service principles, practices, and attributes.This position will be offered as Permanent Full Time based in Sydney, working across our NSW Aged Care facilities, Private and Public Hospitals.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be client and service focused with a very good phone manner. You will demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skill and have knowledge of current Microsoft technologies (server, desktop, and applications).
Additionally, you will have: Current Australian Drivers Licence.Certificate IV in Information Technology Support or IT equivalent.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.PC hardware and peripherals knowledge and skills.Exceptional documentation skills.Desirable Experience within Help Desk / Service Desk environment.Knowledge of ITIL standards.Previous client service experience, especially phone service.If you believe you have the skills and experience, please submit your applications via 'Apply' link.
