Overview The Dynamics 365 Finance Systems Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's financial systems. This includes developing and implementing financial systems and providing long-term strategic planning for these systems.
They provide guidance to other departments on financial reporting and best practices, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the systems meet organizational needs. A comprehensive understanding of financial systems, processes, and regulations, along with strong project management skills, is essential.
The role involves managing system maintenance, changes, enhancements, and ensuring the integrity and security of financial data.
Primary Responsibilities: Technical System Management and Optimization Oversee administration, configuration, and maintenance of D365 Finance and Operations. Drive strategic improvements in reporting, automation, and system performance. Ensure compliance with organizational policies. Partner with IT to execute strategies and simplify processes. Act as a technical liaison between IT, finance, and external consultants. Manage financial systems and interfaces, documenting processes and data flows. Secondary Responsibilities: Process Improvement: Identify and implement workflows and reporting enhancements. Business Analysis and Stakeholder Collaboration: Understand requirements and translate into system solutions. Project Management: Lead upgrades, migrations, and new module implementations. Training and Support: Provide user training and troubleshoot issues. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulations and manage security controls. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Proven experience with managing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Knowledge of MS SQL Server, GAAP/IFRS, and system implementation. Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310). Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and other Microsoft tools. Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, or global finance systems. Desirable Experience: Proficiency in D365 modules like General Ledger, Procurement, Project Management, Inventory, etc. Knowledge of transactions generation, posting, and Microsoft release updates.
