Cyber Technical Analyst Local Peoples is seeking enthusiastic and talented Cyber Technical Analyst in the ACT to join our team as embedded members with our prestigious Government client.
As the Cyber Engagement section's body of work increases, our Government client is seeking eager Cyber Technical Analysts to join their high-performing and fast-paced ICT cyber security team to work within the Digital Service Division Infrastructure space.
Responsibilities : Writing and presenting security documentation to both technical and non-technical staff. Providing technical and non-technical advice to departmental programs in relation to security architecture best practices. Experience in reviewing and providing cyber guidance on application, infrastructure and system integration designs relating to PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight. Raising awareness of security issues with technical and non-technical departmental staff. Implementing Essential Eight in other Government agencies which includes technical uplift and guidance to a variety of stakeholders. Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services. 5 years cyber technical advisory roles within government. Skills and Capability : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Has sound judgment and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision to produce high quality outcomes. Awareness of and ability to anticipate and communicate the impacts of security risks. Ability to develop strong productive relationships, communication skills and issue resolution. Ability to articulate and document technical security artifacts. At least 5 years' experience in a technical cyber advisory role within government. Must hold a current NV1 Clearance. Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and services, in particular around technical assessments. Residency and Clearance : Must have NV1 Clearance. This role is open to ACT.
