The Cyber Security SME will provide specialist advice and support to the Cyber Security Delivery Lead.
The Cyber Security SME will work as part of a leveraged team of technical, commercial, and service delivery specialists under the direction of the Cyber Security Delivery Lead.

The core functions to be performed by the Cyber Security SME include, but are not limited to the following:
Working with a diverse array of stakeholders to identify and develop Cyber Security requirements for inclusion in approaches to market.
Developing documentation on both current state and future state requirements and other relevant documentation as required.
Supporting the Cyber Security Bundle Lead, Sourcing Lead, Program Manager and Program Office in their deliverables.
Required skills and experience:
Demonstration of comprehensive knowledge of ICT and Cyber Security technologies and best practices by having 3+ years' experience in a similar role within a medium/large size organisation.
Certification and/or membership to relevant professional organisations including certification in any of the following: CISSP, Security+, CISA, CISM, SABSA, GIAC and SANs.
Demonstrated experience in implementing Government ICT outsourcing arrangements, including experience in requirements development, tender evaluation, contract negotiation, and service implementation.
Demonstrated experience in implementing Cyber Security services across large scale ICT delivery environment, including within Government.
Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills to facilitate smooth transitions and minimise disruption.
Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
The ability to clearly articulate requirements, expectations and outcomes is essential.
The ability to present information and communicate expectations across conflicting priorities/workloads.
Ability to work under pressure with close attention to detail.
This includes the ability to plan, coordinate, and track the progress of various activities within agreed timelines.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Cyber Security solutions and services across large scale ICT delivery environments including within Government.
Demonstrated experience in implementing large scale Government ICT outsourcing arrangements, including experience in requirements development, tender evaluation, contract negotiation, and service implementation.
Strong delivery, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication and documentation skills.
Relevant Tertiary qualifications or equivalent assessed comparable overseas qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technologies, or Cyber Security.
