12 + 12 month contract - Baseline clearance Brisbane CBD location - Flexible work arrangements Vulnerability management, SIEM, SOAR and Threat Intelligence Our client, a large Federal Government department based in Brisbane CBD, requires an experienced cyber security operations analyst for a long 12 + 12 month contract.

The agency adopts a cloud-first approach, and candidates will demonstrate experience with Azure, M365 and AWS technologies.

Duties Provide technical advice and direction as a Cyber Security SME. Implement essential eight controls and uplift maturity. Assist in the architecture and development of secure platforms based on zero trust principals. Work closely with the site monitoring and reliability team to mature the incident response capability. Manage stakeholders and vendors. Create and circulate documentation to showcase procedures. Automate current processes to allow for rapid growth and scalability. Mentor and develop Cyber Analysts within the team. Selection Criteria Minimum of 5 years' experience working in a large complex ICT environment with a focus on cyber operations. Proven experience in a fast-paced SOC environment. Advanced Incident Response - demonstrated ability to respond to a major incident. Experience in mentoring junior staff.
