About the Opportunity
As a Cyber Security Consultant for ISDefence, your role will be to provide consultative business resilience services. The role will be heavily client facing and have a strong problem-solving focus. The successful individual will be able to work with our Principal and Senior Consultants to enhance our customers security posture and have the ability to engage and communicate on all levels of an organisation.
You will be responsible for:
Delivery of agreed client deliverables to time and budget
Delivery of internal project’s and operational tasks
The role will require you to work on site with clients from time to time, as well as collaboratively with the team in our Adelaide CBD office. However, even without COVID, flexible working arrangements were well established in this business so that working from home is also part of the normal routine.
Generally clients are located in the CBD area but some national and international travel may potentially be required at some stage.
You will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package commensurate with your experience, training and a career path progression plan, plus up to an additional 5 day’s study leave per annum to enable you to focus on personal development activities.
About You
Ideally, you will have experience in a consulting environment, with specific exposure to information security risk management, third party risk assessments, and ISO 27001 implementation and maintenance.
Exceptional professional writing skills are essential to deliver high quality reports and presentations. Experience with multiple industry standards and frameworks would be highly beneficial.
Importantly, you are a self-starter and manage your projects independently, yet work equally well within a team.
Our client knows unicorns do not exist, so they are looking for people who are strong in some areas, and with generalist knowledge and a willingness to learn in other areas.
We are keen to find individuals who can:
Support development and implementation of various frameworks and management systems that align with current standards, such as ISO27001, ISO22301, NIST, ITIL, BCI Good Practice, etc.
Undertake gap assessments and risk assessments aligned ISO 27001, Essential Eight and South Australian Cyber Security Framework
Design / implement security controls
Review and develop policies, processes and procedures against industry standards
Conduct third party and application risk assessments
Deliver outcomes to high quality standards
Provide excellent customer service
Provide input to project end reports and/or summary presentations
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Higher Education (Degree or Masters) is preferred however, experience will be more highly regarded for this position

Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer
MBCI, CBCI
