You will be part of our Sea Logistics team, adding your expertise and skills to the delivery of customer and operational excellence.Your Role Your primary objective will be to ensure compliance with customs laws and import/export regulations of goods, customs entry verifications, tariff classifications, valuations, duty calculation, audits, along with customs case investigations.
You will do this by working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.Your Responsibilities Ensure compliance with customs laws and regulations.Demonstrate knowledge of Free Trade Agreements, providing advice and verifying Certificate of Origin documents.Understand import/export licenses and communicate this knowledge to key stakeholders.Classify goods accurately for customs clearance activities.Perform precise calculations of customs duties, taxes, and fees.Conduct risk assessments for high-risk shipments.Streamline customs procedures and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Your Skills and Experiences Customs broker license and DAFF accreditation.Strong technical knowledge and experience with Australian customs and quarantine regulations, preferably over 5 years.Dedication to customer excellence.Responsible, reliable, attentive to detail, able to work under pressure, and a team player.#J-18808-Ljbffr
