What you will do You will answer inbound calls and assist with general banking enquiries from existing customers. This can range from credit cards, transaction/savings accounts, and online banking.
These can include:
Providing customer account balancesReplacing debit and credit cardsClosing credit card accountsUpdating personal informationResetting online banking passwords and reactivating SMS protectInvestigating unusual transactions and loading disputes if necessaryTriaging fraud enquiriesLoad complaints and capture customer feedbackProviding customers accurate informationFollowing strict identification guidelinesThere are no sales or up selling/cross-selling involved in this role.
About you Have a genuine interest in banking or financial servicesCustomer Service experience is highly desirableAbility to demonstrate good computer skills and navigate multiple computer systemsDemonstrates resilience to work in a fast paced environment and cope with tough conversationsMust live within a reasonable travel distance to office locationMust have completed grade 12 or equivalentTraining Period (on-site)
Weeks 1 -3 (classroom training)
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pmWeeks 4 to 7 (on the job training) Monday to Friday; availability for full time hours within the span of hours between 8am and 8pm (8am till 5:30pm can be requested).More than 11 different roster options to choose from to suit your lifestyle.School hours and split shifts availableChoose Full time (38 hours) or Part time (30 hours or 24 hours)Work from home opportunitiesWhat we can offer you! Full time paid trainingPlease note: During the training period you will need to meet job score card requirements which include attendance, assessments, trainer evaluation and class performance. Must be able to attend 100% of the training so we can set you up for success!
