ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for an experienced Customer Services Officer with strong clerical skills, excellent customer service and medical receptionist experience to be part of the Day Infusion Services team. The co-location of the Oncologist and Haematologist rooms makes this a unique role. The successful applicant will provide reception and clerical assistance to both the Day Oncology Unit and the specialist consultants.
Duties include: General reception dutiesGreet and assist patients in a professional and timely mannerPatient accounts and booking - experience with MOSAIQ/EMR software program (preferred)Information managementClerical duties which include filing clinical paperwork and Alpha/Numerical inputBooking, pre-admitting and admitting/discharging patients for treatmentLiaising with various departments both internal and externalWe are looking for a candidate with: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships within a team environment and with people of all levelsUnderstanding Person Centred Care and a friendly, sensitive and professional approach to patientsThe ability to respond positively and prioritise in a busy and changing environmentThere is an opportunity to train for casual shifts in the areas of Hospital Reception and Ward ClerkWHY WORK FOR SVPHM: St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) is a facility of St Vincent's Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries.
