Customer Service and Compliance ConsultantCointree is a growing business with ambitious goals and a highly passionate team dedicated to using the latest technology, smart innovation, and providing exceptional service to our customers.
As a leading Australian cryptocurrency exchange, we give traders access to 240+ cryptocurrencies, an easy-to-use platform, a dedicated support team, and exclusive patented trading ideas.
We are growing our customer support and compliance team and looking for a proactive, driven crypto enthusiast eager to provide customer service and support to our customers and hit the ground running.
You will be responsible for: Provide support for our customers both via our support ticketing system, live chat, and phone (inbound and outbound calls)Investigate and problem solve customer queriesInvestigation of crypto trades, account transfers, and customer depositsWorking with customers throughout the onboarding processContacting new customers via the phone for onboarding screening and new account set upAssisting accounts on customer paymentsConduct customer authentication reviews and reportingAssist Compliance team with compliance tasks and responsibilities as requiredLike many businesses, we all wear many hats, so you're also likely to find yourself helping out on other tasks - for example, platform testing, assisting our marketing & events team and taking part in industry events.
What we are looking for: Minimum of 2 years of customer support experienceAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and writing skillsAbility to learn and to adapt to new environments quicklyEnjoys speaking to customers over the phone and building relationshipsAccurate and quick typing skillsProactive, with a customer-focused approachAbility to perform tasks with minimal supervisionAvailable to work on a rostered full-time work week (working availability including weekends)Proficient in the Google and Microsoft suitesPrevious experience with support tools such as Zendesk desirableGeneral interest in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is a bonus!This role is perfect for a people person who's passionate about customer service, technology savvy, enjoys problem-solving, and looking for a challenge.
