Great Southern Bank has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Due Diligence Officer to join the Financial Crime team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the Bank's Ongoing Customer Due Diligence obligations, including 'Know Your Customer' (KYC) requirements and customer risk management activities. You will implement the Bank's Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Terrorism Financing Program, ensuring compliance with relevant responsibilities and obligations to manage financial crime risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:Operationalize the Bank's Ongoing Customer Due Diligence obligations as outlined in Chapter 15 of the AML/CTF Rules and the Bank's AML/CTF Program, focusing on KYC obligations.Ensure high quality, completeness, and efficiency in process execution and daily duties, meeting all compliance commitments.Contribute to achieving targets and service level agreements.Develop and maintain professional relationships with peers, leaders, and stakeholders.Commit to continuous improvement and seek ways to enhance business processes.Qualifications and Skills:Experience supporting customer onboarding and/or KYC roles.Understanding of identification, verification, and regulatory compliance documents related to KYC/AML.Strong customer service orientation with accountability for outcomes.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.Why Join Us?Be part of a customer-owned bank that benefits communities and families across Australia.
