Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry essential. Alignment to our principles: Integrity, Accountability, Innovation & Deliver Current Standard 11, a current open drivers' licence and relevant coal mining certifications Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System DIESEL FITTERS ABOUT THE ROLE Providing technical knowledge, support and assistance to Thiess' maintenance operations. The role will also provide an opportunity to expand your maintenance technical skills and become a leader in the mechanical field.
REQUIREMENTS Diesel Fitting trade certificate. Experience with Liebherr & Hitachi Excavators, CAT 797 and 789 Trucks would be an advantage. Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing mining equipment. AUTO ELECTRICIANS ABOUT THE ROLE Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing and maintenance procedures.
Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high regard Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation Provide high-quality installations including mountings, wiring and testing of equipment Perform basic configuration of 802.11b/g wireless networks Investigate and resolve faults, and carry out preventative maintenance routines on FMS and machine guidance systems fitted onto Excavators, Dozers, Drills, Trucks, Graders, and Light Vehicles Ensure all activities are completed in a safe manner ROLE REQUIREMENTS Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent Refrigerated handling License. Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving equipment including Caterpillar, Hitachi and Liebherr would be desirable. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
