Job Scope:
As a Product Support Representative, you will be supporting FLS with the customer site provided to ensure all service and sales are transacted and communicated fluently. This role will work heavily with the Area manager for sales and support, as well as the site service planner and FLS planner to ensure orders and Labour meets our customer requirements. The role will focus solely on our FLSmidth OEM equipment and maintain a strong relationship with the customer provided. Your role will be ensuring policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed with personnel attending the site and maintaining compliance under the site systems required.
Your responsibilities:
Ensures that drawings, specifications, and schedules are correctly interpreted and are passed down, understood, and followed by the team.
Inspect the OEM team's work to ensure that acceptable work standards are achieved.
Check equipment before it is released to the clients, ensuring it is returned to service in a safe condition and to OEM standards, also advise of any defects or where damage has occurred.
Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of your work.
Evaluates job progress and liaise with the customer.
Promotes a culture of personal and team safety.
Take part in relevant OEM planning meetings, including but not limited to operations, labor, and projects.
What you bring:
Experience in fixed pant operations including ABON Crushers & Sizers.
Trade Qualified
Good presentation & effective organizational and communication skills both internally and to our clients.
Good commitment to a positive Safety culture.
Able to provide reports and recommendations on the jobs completed.
Read, adjust, and approve reports completed by your team.
Able to proactively assist in all aspects of coordinating shutdown work including but not limited to assessment of work instructions, procedures, manning levels, and appropriate skillsets.
The ability to use initiative to contribute and support continuous improvement and drive change.
Assist with the completion of required inspections, audits, and HSE reports.
