With expansion plans and a commitment to continuing investments in infrastructure, Darwin Port is ready to service Australia's future needs and capitalise on the development of Northern Australia and emerging markets.About the roleWe are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cruise Facility Operations Coordinator which serves as the primary liaison between the Darwin Port Cruise Vessel Terminal, the Cruise line staff and other stakeholders.You are responsible for establishing strong relationships with cruise line customers and external contractors. Working closely with Darwin Port internal teams, this role aims to improve the customer arrival experience, optimize turnaround times, and ensure safe service delivery, all while enforcing security regulations.Skills and experienceIt is essential that you hold a Diploma in Business, or equivalent professional training in logistics, port management or a related discipline, with experience in the leadership and management of multiple teams.A high level of customer service, experience in logistics and knowledge of the Maritime Transport and Offshore Facilities Security (MTOFSA) Act is also essential to this role.You are highly organised and planned with excellent administration & customer service skills. You will have high level interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships to achieve positive outcomes with all stakeholders.You must be honest, reliable and be able to work both as part of a team and independently.Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to work varied hours which includes weekends and public holidays.Benefits and perks5 weeks annual leave per annum (accrued pro rata)Permanent full-time positionAll applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain a Maritime Security Identity Card (MSIC) which includes a background check and may be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment and will be subject to Drug and Alcohol testing in accordance with Company policy.This position is located at Fort Hill Wharf, but will require regular travel to East Arm Wharf also.
