The Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Developer plays a critical role in driving online conversion rates by developing and implementing optimisation strategies that enhance the customer experience.
This role combines expertise in front-end development, user interface design, and A/B testing to create seamless, high performing, and cross-browser compatible digital experiences.
Key Accountabilities Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to identify and validate improvements that optimise customer engagement, conversion rates, and overall site performance.
Conduct thorough testing of all development work, including automated testing where appropriate, to ensure flawless integration of new code into the production environment.
Convert UI/UX designs into fully functional, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance on all devices.
In collaboration with your line manager, continuously assess and identify opportunities for site improvements that will drive higher conversion rates and enhance the overall customer experience Provide guidance and support to internal developers on best practices for platform development and coding standards, ensuring consistency and scalability.
Build strong relationships with external platform providers to understand platform capabilities and leverage them to support business objectives.
Key Capabilities Experience in front-end development across a spectrum of devices and browsers.
Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JS frameworks, including advanced usage of DOM manipulation in JavaScript or JQuery, all aligned with W3C standards.
Demonstrated ability to write innovative, scalable, and maintainable code with a strong portfolio showcasing development solutions across various devices and browsers.
Familiarity with test-and-learn approaches to conversion rate optimization (CRO) is highly advantageous.
Skilled in quickly creating prototypes to validate and iterate on design and functionality ideas.
