We have a permanent opportunity for a professional and enthusiastic Crewing Coordinator with recent marine crewing experience to join our team, based in Perth CBD.
Reporting to the Crewing Team Leader, the Crewing Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating both personnel logistics and the recruitment of offshore personnel for our Asia Pacific based offshore projects and operations.
Disciplines can include Diving, ROV, Survey & Inspection, Back Deck crew, Marine crew and Supervisory personnel.
The Crewing Coordinator will be responsible for (but not limited to) :
Sourcing crew and building / maintaining relationships. Preparing and reviewing personnel manning levels, roster and work cycles, in accordance with project requirements and applicable enterprise agreements; Preparing and coordinating employment documentation, including employment contracts. Competence management, in accordance with offshore project and marine requirements. Being the key point of contact for both marine and project crew. Ensuring the project and marine crew mobilised for offshore projects have the required competence, qualifications and certificates from the correct certifying body; and ensure all vessel joining requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Coordinate visa applications; work permits; arrange pre-mobilisation / employment medicals and project specific training. Respond to employment queries from new and existing casual crew. General personnel related administrative duties. Requirements
Proven track record of recent success in a similar marine crewing role within the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with crew across cultures and disciplinary backgrounds. Have a good working knowledge of current Marine crew competency requirements in line with regulations, codes and standards as applicable. Have an understanding of crewing personnel under enterprise agreements. A talent for working with and enhancing HR / Crewing systems, effectively managing data to support the Crewing and HR functions. Considerable working experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel. Exceptional organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and overcome constant and ever-changing logistical challenges.
