About the role As a Crew Coordinator, you will oversee and lead field operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of construction, maintenance, and customer service tasks on Essential Energy's electrical network. This role involves direct operational support to Resource Supervisors, coordination of daily activities, and upholding stringent safety and compliance standards.
You will oversee the implementation of Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC) processes, manage site inductions, and maintain meticulous documentation to uphold regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, maintaining high service levels, and fostering a culture of safety and productivity.
About You You are an experienced professional with a solid background in electrical network operations, construction, and maintenance. Your expertise includes coordinating field activities, ensuring safety compliance, and optimising operational efficiency. You possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate teams, coupled with excellent communication abilities to liaise with stakeholders and support operational objectives. With a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery, you thrive in dynamic environments where teamwork and safety are paramount. Required Qualifications Certificate III in ESI Power Systems Distribution Overhead or Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician - Electives Frontline Management or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and relevant qualifications. Driver's Licence. Workcover NSW Construction Induction Certificate. Powerline Worker or Electrotechnology Trade. Maintenance of all regulatory, industry, and business-required licences, authorisations, and other certificates necessary for the role. Desirable Qualifications Frontline Management. Elevated Work Platform. Crane. Dogging. Manual Handling. Environmental Awareness. Forklift Operator. Site Inductions. First Aid. Chemical Awareness, handling, and storage.
