Supported by major local and international institutions, the company is well established in the property finance market and ongoing growth has now led to a need for a Credit Underwriter to join the team.

Role Overview
As a Credit Underwriter, you will be responsible for conducting credit assessment and approvals under your DLA. This role will work with and support the residential credit team to meet agreed SLA's and drive customer-focused outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

Credit assessment and approval for residential loans within DLA's.
Liase with valuers, solicitors, brokers, and financial advisers as required.
Workshop scenarios with relationship managers to best meet credit guidelines.
Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by attending to phone and email queries in a timely manner.
Positive contribution to company culture and work environments.


About You

2+ years of residential lending credit experience with PAYG and/or self-employed/trusts.
Have held a DLA currently or previously of at least $500k.
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal.
Well-developed relationship skills which will demonstrate strong internal stakeholder management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong team player.
Non-conforming lending experience would be desirable.
