This is a full-time role based in our Sydney Office reporting to the Financial Controller.

The successful applicant's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring and managing the credit control processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Evaluating and assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing customers. Timely processing of receipts in the bank daily when required. Processing new account applications. Setting appropriate credit limits for customers. Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments and addressing any payment delays or discrepancies promptly. Preparing monthly reports on accounts receivable, collections, and credit risk to management, highlighting areas of concern. Maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service, and addressing their queries or concerns related to credit matters. Processing month-end journals. Assisting with Logistics and Shipping WIP reconciliations. Reconciliation of principal accounts. Required skills:
3+ years' experience in credit control and accounts receivable. Proficiency in using financial software. Knowledge of MS Office. Attention to detail and data entry accuracy. Good communicator with the ability to build rapport. Team player. The Role offers:

Experience or knowledge within the Ship Agency business is preferred, but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate. The successful applicant should be proficient with MS Office applications and PDF tools and be motivated with attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement. Experience in accounts receivables will be highly regarded. Only applicants with Australian citizenship or proof of Permanent Residency Visa to work in Australia without restrictions should apply.
