The Role Under the Integrated Primary Mental Health Care Model, this position will focus and deliver quality mental health and wellbeing services for disadvantaged, vulnerable or hard to reach individuals who have, or at risk of mental health condition in the Esperance-Goldfields region.
Located 700kms east-southeast of Perth, Esperance is a town in the Goldfields.

Conduct comprehensive client assessments to inform the development of a case plan or appropriate referrals according to the clients identified needs.
Assessing supports and ensuring that they are appropriate to meeting client's needs.
Referring and assisting clients to access appropriate mainstream specialist services and support groups.
Be able to respond appropriately to client in crisis.
Facilitate groups as required.
Selection Criteria Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, Counselling, Childhood Development or related disciplines.
1-3 years' experience in counselling individuals, couples and families.
Relevant experience in working with children and families with complex needs e.g.
domestic violence, homelessness, abuse, schooling issues.
Whereby service design was inclusive of social, emotional, mental, and physical needs.
Experience in case management and coordination of client services.
Demonstrated experience in intake, assessment and case management Knowledge and experience in early intervention and prevention program services.
Highly developed clinical skills and knowledge.
Strong professional boundaries Current Class 'C' driver's license and own vehicle.
