Based at our corporate office, you will work closely with the cost controls team, providing ongoing project cost control reporting, including auditing and reviewing financial positions. This full-time role offers an immediate start and a variety of projects to keep you engaged and challenged.The Role

Compile and review monthly project reports on KPI'sLead and assist with the compilation of financial budgets and forecasts for the business unit including but not limited to project working hoursManage overhead costs within the business unit.Monitor business unit and project activities for compliance with legal, ethical and professional standards.Conduct financial audits on the projects, with a focus on cost and revenue forecasts.Monitor outstanding debtors and assist Project Managers to resolve.Monitor committed/open Purchase Orders and ensure that Purchase Orders are closed out within an appropriate timeframe.About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:Tertiary qualifications in the related discipline - bachelor's degree in finance, or relevant fieldPreviously worked in the Mining, Construction and Engineering sectors2-3 years' experience in a similar roleKnowledge in the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control toolsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailsCompetent in all Microsoft Office SuitesAt Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a 'Never Assume' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
