Full-time, continuing position at the University's Camperdown Campus with hybrid work arrangements availablePlay a key role in providing communications support to the Vice-Chancellor and PresidentAbout the opportunityThe Correspondence Manager is an integral member of the Vice-Chancellor's Office team and manages the team's overall correspondence activities, in alignment with the priorities of the Vice-Chancellor and President. You will be accountable for the efficient and effective delivery of correspondence and written communications while maintaining a professional and service-focused culture.Your key responsibilities will be to:Provide communications and correspondence support to the Vice-Chancellor and President.Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence for the Vice-Chancellor.Prepare drafts, edit, and distribute communications for a wide range of audiences.Understand the Vice-Chancellor's style and priorities to identify outreach opportunities.Design and implement processes for tracking correspondence.Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.As the Vice-Chancellor's Office is a small team, other duties may be required from time to time.About youBachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.Outstanding communication skills with demonstrated experience writing for different audiences.Strong organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, concurrent deadlines in a dynamic working environment.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with tact and discretion.Previous experience working for a senior leader in a large organisation, higher education, or government setting is desirable.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
