Corporate Tax Accountant

We are looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Tax Accountant, who can hit the ground running in this 9 month fixed term contract (with possible extension), to work from our Macquarie Park Office.
This role is anticipated to start early January 2025.
In this maternity leave coverage role, the Corporate Tax Accountant will be responsible for the day to day operation of the tax function, with the following duties: Responsible for completing all AU/NZ company tax obligations including income tax, FBT, GST and Payroll tax Monthly tax calculations and reporting Other Ad Hoc finance tasks & reports This important role is also to support the financial decision makers by collecting, analysing, investigating and reporting tax information to the relevant stakeholders (both internal – wider finance and payroll team, and external – ATO and State Revenue offices) in a timely manner.

Career development via our internal Learning Management System  Required skills and experience for success: Degree qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Business or other relevant field Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar taxation compliance role in either commercial or in the Top 4 firm Analytical ability to analyse results and variances linked to business drivers; and Relationship building skills (good communication and customer service focus) Additional desirable criteria would include: CA/CPA qualification is ideal Experience with Navision GL system and OneStream To apply for this role please click on the 'apply' link and complete the online application.
