The Role Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, this role will be involved in all aspects of financial reporting for the corporate division, including the accurate completion of monthly financial accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
A critical component of the role is the completion of monthly reporting for subsidiaries and its financial analysis, ensuring best practice Group Financial Control policies, procedures and processes are implemented and adhered to.
The preparation of annual financial reports for the Group and its subsidiaries is also a key aspect of the corporate finance team deliverables, this role will be supporting this activity. A strong understanding and the application of current accounting standards is therefore critical.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in streamlining and improving existing models and reporting processes.
Responsibilities include: Perform CBH Group reporting and its financial consolidation processBusiness partnering with the Corporate Services business unit stakeholdersPreparation of end of month reporting for subsidiaries within CBH GroupPreparation of quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting for the businessAssist in the preparation of the Annual Financial Report for the CBH Group and facilitate the audit through external auditorsProvide guidance and support the business on accounting policy issues to ensure CBH Group complianceProvide ad hoc analysis and project work as requiredAbout You: Understanding of Accounting standards, interpretation and its applications.Ability to evaluate financial reports, possess analytical skill and attention to detailIntermediate and or advance Excel skill essentialCritical thinking with problem solving ability, with continuous improvement mindset.Business or Commerce Degree in AccountingCA or CPA Status (at minimum studying towards)A minimum of 5 Years accounting experienceApplication of statutory reporting requirements, AIFRS and its interpretationPractical use of SAP system is desirableWhy work with CBH?
