They are an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing a safe and rewarding working environment for their people, with a strong culture of developing and enhancing their employees' capabilities. The RoleReporting to the Manager - Corporate Finance, this role will be involved in all aspects of financial reporting including the accurate completion of monthly group financial accounts, budgeting, and forecasting. The preparation of annual financial reports for the Group and its subsidiaries is also a key aspect of the Corporate finance team deliverables and this role will be supporting this activity. A strong understanding of current accounting standards is therefore critical. In addition, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in streamlining and improving existing models and reporting processes This role is for a fixed-term period of six months Key responsibilitiesCompletion of business unit monthly reporting requirements and its financial analysis.Assist in the preparation of the Annual Financial Report for the Group and its subsidiaries.Assist with capex & accounts reconciliationsProvide ad hoc analysis and project work as required. Skills and experienceBusiness or Commerce Degree in AccountingCA or CPA Status (at minimum studying towards)SAP expereince would be an advantage but is not a requirementPractical skill in Power BI and/or OneSource tool desirableA minimum of 4 Years accounting experience.Understanding of statutory reporting requirements, AIFRS and its interpretation.Strong computer literacy in MS Office (particularly Excel)Big 4 auditor or second-tier experience desirable Great company culture with flexibility and WFH opportunitiesExcellent team environment - friendly, professional and approachableGreat benefits include free health and gym facilitiesAwesome office based right in the CBDExcellent brand to have on your resume that will help you to open doors with other large companies within WA The CompanyOur client is one of Australia's largest Agricultural Businesses with operations that extend along the value chain and include storage, handling, transport, marketing and processing.
