About the Role The role of the Coronial Liaison Officer (CLO) at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is to co-ordinate information and documentation to maintain the organisation's compliance with all statutory requirements pertaining to deaths.Assist staff and clients in the work unit as requested and respond to general customer enquiries over the phone, email and in person pertaining to patient death and the management of the patient post discharge from our care.Maintain effective time management practices by prioritising workflow to ensure timeframes are met while identifying, developing and implementing strategies and work practices which will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of workflows.Commit to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by actively participating in safety and quality practices, specifically the governance of hospital wide policy and procedures in relation to the care of the deceased patient.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
