About the role :The training team is seeking a Coordinator in Training and Trades. As the Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training and trades programs, enhancing Roy Hill employees' skills and knowledge with a positive and willing attitude.Based on a Perth roster, Monday to Friday, located at the Remote Operating Centre (ROC) at Perth Airport, you will report to the Specialist Training & Trades and will oversee all training initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals and compliance requirements.Duties :Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including securing trainers and resources.Collaborate with department leads to identify training needs and develop solutions.Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance on training activities, attendance, and assessments.Assist and coordinate with management of TAFE call-ups for apprentices and trainees.Assist with onboarding of Apprentices and Traineeship programs.Assist with management of RTO third-party agreements compliance requirements.Develop and maintain a training calendar that forecasts training activities for six (6) to twelve (12) months for the organization.Manage engagement processes and review of external training vendors.Skills and Experience :Advanced experience in training and trades roles within the mining or similar industry.Good understanding of Training Governance Framework, Learning Management Systems, and developing training programs.Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and establish priorities.Ability to maintain and provide highly effective customer service, following up through to close out.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is essential.Ability to travel to our Mine and Port Operations.How to apply :Click APPLY to submit your application.To be eligible to apply for this role, you must be legally permitted to work permanently in Australia.Please note that unsolicited applications from recruitment agencies will not be accepted.
