As the Coordinator FDV Coordinated Response Service, you will join a multidisciplinary team of like-minded professionals that provide support to the family and domestic violence Regional Coordination Response multi-agency case management groups. You will ensure quality service delivery and outcomes for families and individuals impacted by family and domestic violence, by achieving improved victim safety and perpetrator accountability.
Some of the duties will include:
Developing relationships with regional service providers and departments (police, child protection) who have a role to play in addressing family and domestic violence.Organizing interagency joint triage meetings.Ensuring appropriate tools and forms are available to support referral, risk assessment, and case planning.Facilitating multi-agency case management.Providing training for service providers about the regional coordination response model.Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat you will bring You are passionate about your professional practice and specifically about providing person-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate services.
You will have:
Tertiary Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline, with specialist knowledge and experience relevant to the position (an exemption to this may apply to applicants who have demonstrated equivalent knowledge of and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people or who are Aboriginal).Experience in assessing and managing risk and supporting clients affected by FDV, ideally including with individuals and families in Indigenous communities.Knowledge of current theories, practice, and literature in the area of FDV.The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check, and a WA Driver's Licence.
