Brown Turner Ross – Southport, Borough of Sefton Key ResponsibilitiesOpening, updating and closing matter files and recording client dataPreparing quotes and initial paperworkDealing with identification documents, and understanding AML proceduresOrdering office copies and other HMRC documents, local authority searchesTyping and preparing correspondence, documents, and formsLiaising with estate agents and third parties either by phone, email or written correspondenceUpdating clients with efficiency and politeness throughout the processPreparing contract efficiency packsOrdering redemption statementsExchanging contracts and organising completionsPreparing bills and the financial documentationPost completion working, including preparation of Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns, drafting applications to the Land Registry, deeds schedules, etcEnsuring compliance with quality standards and company policies/proceduresSkills and Knowledge RequiredPrevious experience of working in a busy Residential Conveyancing Department is desirableExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamEffectively handle sensitive and confidential informationAbility to work under pressure and multitaskAbility to effectively prioritise and excellent organisation skillsPrevious experience of dealing with financial informationIn-depth working knowledge of MS OfficePrevious experience of Case Management System - LEAP - is desirable Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
