Mackay Regional Council are seeking an engineering professional to join the dynamic control system and SCADA team.
This position is permanent fulltime based at the Paget Depot.

About this opportunity:
The Control Systems Engineer will be a key member of the control system and SCADA team whose key priority is to develop and implement programs to deliver the ongoing operations and maintenance of the council's Control system and SCADA network.
Design and configuration of the operational systems to ensure efficient and effective operation of water, sewerage and waste services in line with Council objectives.
This position ensures all SCADA and control system works are completed in accordance with MRC standards and specifications.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Tertiary qualifications in electronics, electrical engineering or a related field.
Qualifications acceptable for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia at a member level.
General Construction Induction Training.
QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent.
Minimum 3 years previous experience with programming and configuration of SCADA, Telemetry & control systems is essential.
Candidates with Allen-Bradley PLC and GeoSCADA experience will be highly regarded.
Knowledge of procurement processes including monitoring and managing, consultants, contractors, suppliers and service level agreements.
