About the Role
MSS Security is seeking dedicated Control Room Operators to join our team at Melbourne Olympic Parks. We have both casual and full-time positions available. In this critical role, you will oversee control room operations, monitor CCTV feeds, and communicate effectively with roving security officers to address security breaches, alarms, and other incidents.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyse CCTV footage for security issues.
Communicate promptly with security personnel regarding incidents.
Ensure adherence to security protocols and procedures.
Maintain detailed records of events and incidents.
Respond swiftly to alarms and emergencies, making informed decisions.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years of Control Room or Monitoring Station experience.
Valid Victorian Security Licence with Control Room Endorsement.
Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.
Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
Current driver's licence.
Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain).
Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Comprehensive report writing skills.
Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including shifts.
Day: 06:00am - 2:00pm
Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Night: 10:00pm - 06:00am
12-hour shifts on weekends: 06:00am – 6:00pm and 6:00pm - 06:00am.
