Surface Operator - Mine Control
About the role:
Corestaff Townsville are seeking a Control Room Operator to work within our clients Mine Control function. You will be responsible for monitoring data from various instrumentation systems, entering information into a computer system, and providing direction to machines operators. They must be able to also maintain records for various processes and monitor for any potential hazards.
You will be a local resident to Mt Isa or surrounding areas. While mining experience/knowledge is preferred, it is not essential.
Roster
7/7 rotating Days & Nights
Minimum requirements to be successful:

Strong administrator skills
Ability to work between multiple systems
High attention to detail
Licence & reliable transport
Able to pass PEM & DAS
Good time management skills for a high paced environment

Please note: This is a residential position only. You must reside within 80kms or 1 hour from Mt Isa. No FIFO/Camp available.
