Contracts Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Contracts Specialist to join a tier 1 mining company on an initial 6–12-month contract with possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities: Manage head contracts effectively, providing timely and accurate advice on contract rights and obligations.Operate and maintain commercial and contract systems, including project cost reporting, registers, and commercial databases.Advise Package Managers on contractual rights, obligations, and strategies to ensure compliance with subcontract conditions.Assist in the assessment and management of subcontractor claims, providing advice on claims management and drafting contractual correspondence.Review and process claims for completed work and manage disputed claims in accordance with relevant legislation.What We Are Looking For: Solid experience as a Contracts Specialist in the construction or mining industry.Strong background in both pre-award and post-award contract management.Excellent time management and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
