Are you looking for a sea change? Alder is currently expanding our team in Ballina and we are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Administrator.
Ballina Shire is located in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
It is home to some of the most beautiful uncrowded beaches and national parks and you'll find plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy all things nature when you live in Ballina.
The successful candidate will be working on a diverse range of commercial construction projects ranging from $5m - $30m across Northern NSW.

About the roleAs a Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards, and mitigating risk.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and streamline contract processes.
Key Responsibilities:Contract Management: Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and implement strategies to mitigate them.Cost Control: Manage all cost control for head contract claims, variations, subcontract claims, monthly cost reporting.Document Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and related documents.
Ensure proper filing and retrieval of contract documentation.Dispute Resolution: Address and resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the contract lifecycle in a timely and effective manner.Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve contract management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Skills:Strong understanding of contract law and regulations.Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
