With six offices nationally and partner firms in more than 145 markets, wherever you want to go, we can take you there.About this roleThe Contract Manager will support our in-house legal team by performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of Legal, within the Quality & Excellence team.This role involves dealing with confidentiality requirements, including non-disclosure agreements, managing contracts, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and providing administrative support to the Head of Legal and In-House Legal Counsel.Key responsibilitiesYou will provide effective support to our in-house legal team with routine and unique aspects of legal support given to the firm, while demonstrating knowledge and understanding of ethical principles governing conduct within the legal and professional services environment.Draft (using template documents), review and revise non-disclosure agreementsFirst review of other types of contracts and correspondenceAssist with tenders and drafting responses to requests from clients and potential clientsAssist in compliance with the firm's contractual, legal and regulatory obligationsEnsure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirementsEstablish and maintain Contracts RegisterAssist with ad hoc projects to improve the efficiency of the legal teamConduct ad hoc legal research and administrative tasksSkills and experienceThe salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 p.a., inclusive of superannuation.Experience as a contract manager, paralegal, or similar roleQualification(s) in law and / or contract management would be advantageousStrong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentationExperience reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements will be highly regardedExcellent research skills, as well as excellent written and spoken communication skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong IT systems and technology skillsIf you're interested in this role but don't feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.Reach your remarkableAt Grant Thornton we do things differently because we understand that when you strive for better and care about what you do remarkable things are possible.
