Contract Administrator - New Build Projects and Structural RefurbishmentsWith a well-established profile, this stable, third generation, new build and structural refurbishment builder is offering an opportunity for an energetic, driven, and motivated up-and-coming Contract Administrator to join their organisation.
While the position will include further training, development, and the opportunity to be mentored by more experienced peers, you will be required to deliver formal contract administration services, therefore requiring a minimum of 2-3 years' experience.
Experienced Contract Administrators are also encouraged to apply.
Ideally, you will have had some exposure to structural trades in addition to design-driven projects.
Works will include new builds up to $25M and refurbishments involving structural rectification across a range of works including breweries, schools, community infrastructure, laboratories, and wider commercial works (non-residential).
Candidates that represent a high degree of aptitude, commitment, and motivation, once in the role, will be afforded promotion opportunities into junior project management and project management ranks in the coming years.
Career Contract Administrators will also be catered for with advancement into senior procurement ranks.
It is expected that applicants will be able to meet the following pre-requisites:
Completed or completing final years of study of a Bachelor of Construction Management or an associated degree.Minimum of 2-3 years formal contract administration experience.Experience in the commercial build environment by way of employment with a principal contractor or major subcontractor.Exceptional time management (organisational) and communication skills; written and oral.The desire to develop a long-term, stable career pathway in the mid-tier building sector.With a strong commitment to its people and culture, you will receive direct guidance from a number of experienced project management, design, and procurement professionals within the company, as you further develop your procurement, cost reporting, forecasting, programming, and contract administration capabilities.
