We would like team members who are excited about the opportunity to build a stable, rewarding, and lucrative career with us.ScheduleFull-time38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).Salary (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).The PositionThe primary purpose of the Contracts Administrator role is to ensure sound project governance through accurate and efficient administration of all contracts with diverse clients.
The Contracts Administrator will collaborate with LAI's project managers, senior managers, and other stakeholders to plan and administer contracts for small and complex projects.Key ResponsibilitiesServe and respond to formal notices.Assist and oversee the preparation of progress claims and program updates.Manage project documentation to ensure the successful delivery of the project works under contract with our clients.Assist in reviewing, strategically amending, and negotiating contracts.Communicate with LAI's project managers, other internal stakeholders, and clients to ensure that our obligations under the contract are understood and achieved.Manage the timely submission of contract notices and amendments from tender prequalification to contract completion.Assist in reporting progress and lead in identifying contract scope changes, preparing and negotiating variations and claims with the client.Respond to and resolve issues concerning contract claims and disputes, utilising nuanced negotiations and commercial acumen to maintain effective client relationships.The CandidateDemonstrate ability to draft contracts per the requirements of the business.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Effective communication skills, particularly when liaising with other departments or external organisations such as clients, suppliers, and regulators.Good written communication to ensure the project team and relevant parties are aware of the contract terms and conditions.Capable and experienced in preparing payment claims, submitting and responding to contract notices and claims on complex projects.Previous experience in a Contract Administrator role or similar is desirable.Desired CompetenciesDegree qualified in Law, Construction Management, or Engineering.Courses in business law.What we can offer:Laptop.Uniform.Training courses.Additional employee benefits.We look forward to finding the appropriate candidates to join our team here in Adelaide.LAI Group is committed to Equal Employment Opportunities, Ethical Practices, and the principles of Cultural Diversity.
