And at Medibank, we know our greatest potential lies in the people who work with us.We strive to make real, fundamental change, driven by a simple purpose: to create the best health and wellbeing for all of Australia.About the opportunity:An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Continuous Improvement Lead to join a collaborative and high performing team on a 12-month fixed term contract.The Continuous Improvement Lead will play a crucial role in enhancing the operation of the Payment Integrity squad by leading the transformation of processes and driving operational excellence.This role involves assessing current processes undertaken by the Payment Integrity teams to identify opportunities for improvement, designing solutions to optimise processes and provide support on implementation.Reporting into the Manager Systems & Enablement, this role will be responsible for the following:Conduct comprehensive assessments of current payment integrity processes to identify areas for improvement.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various levels of the organisation.Act as a liaison between the Payment Integrity Squad and other departments to foster cross-functional collaboration.Identify automation opportunities, implement solutions and leverage technology to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve audit outcomes.Develop performance metrics and implement tracking systems to monitor the effectiveness of process optimisation initiatives.Provide process training on new procedures, systems and tools implemented as part of the optimisation initiatives.Exhibit strong leadership skills by inspiring, motivating and influencing team members to identify process and system opportunities by fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration and excellence.Utilise data analysis tools and techniques to develop process insights and provide accurate and insightful reports that support successful embedment of optimisation initiatives.About you:To be successful as the Continuous Improvement Lead, you will have extensive experience in lean process improvement and a strong understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks, and experience using business intelligence products, such as Power BI.This role requires an individual who has a forward-thinking approach, with an emphasis on boosting efficiency and productivity through strategic process improvement.You will foster a culture of collaboration and high performance, where teams are supported to excel and contribute to ongoing improvement.A familiarity with insurance and the health industry, or a highly regulated industry, would be considered advantageous.Strong communication skills, an eye for detail and a collaborative approach to work will be essential for this role.Inclusion and AccessibilityWe believe in everyone's potential and strive to make Medibank inclusive for all because different perspectives make us better.
