As a Contaminated Land Project Lead you will focus on winning and delivering a diverse range of site contamination and remediation projects and will support the growth of the contamination and remediation service within Arup.
For the right candidate, there is also opportunity to make this role into a people leadership role where you will support and lead the contamination team.
Drawing on your in-depth knowledge and experience in contaminated land management and project management, you will be responsible for all phases of the project lifecycle, from proposal development to project delivery, as part of multidisciplinary teams or as the Arup project manager working alongside clients like Major Road Projects Victoria, Port of Hastings, South East Water.

The Opportunity
Support the execution of strategic plans to drive growth and achieve business targets, including building a pipeline of projects and opportunities across the sectors we work in including transport, renewable energy, maritime and water.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities including within Arup's new service offerings such as regenerative land management and design, sustainable development advisory and nature-based solutions, build relationships with potential clients, and secure contracts.
Be a key contact for clients in Victoria and support local business leaders and portfolio leaders throughout the Australasia region.
Lead or contribute to large and complex site investigations, risk assessment, decommissioning and remediation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including environmental scientists, engineers, and other specialists, to achieve project objectives.
Is this role right for you?

8+ years of relevant industry experience in contaminated land management and remediation within a consulting business environment.
Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, geology, engineering or similar area.
Experienced project manager.
Relevant experience in the delivery of projects across a broad range of design stages and construction.
